I don't think there's any other airline that comes close to Finnair's ease and speed of missing mileage claims and processing name changes. Korean Air also does real-time missing mileage claims, but name changes are among the most difficult I have ever experienced.

Submit a form using just the e-ticket number and the missing mileage usually appears within 30 seconds. Compare this with other airlines that require manual name input, flight dates, departing and destination airports, fare class, etc.

Partner flights
The Name, Finnair Plus number and email address fields are auto-populated since you're already signed in.
All you need to do is provide the partner name and upload a picture of your boarding pass or an itinerary. I suspect they use OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to process the information in the uploaded boarding pass or itinerary. This is how things should be done at all airlines!

Most airlines usually require you to do things like contacting customer support via phone or form and then emailing them a picture of your passport, which is slow and not the most secure and private data handling procedure.
Finnair lets you do a first name change by just using chat! No wait times on the phone and passing files. This is much better than Cathay Pacific's horrific experience for account management.
